We developed the Certificate in Fundamentals of Oil & Gas Safety & Exploration in response to the emerging oil and gas industry in Guyana and the increasing expectation for professionals to understand the fundamentals of this field and perform safe operations. The 8 hours ( 4 days) course provides knowledge in various aspects of the safety and risk management. The skills participants will gain from this program would be immediately transferrable to personnel's roles and daily duties.

Entry Requirements:

• Passes in at least five CSEC subjects
• The subjects must include English Language and Mathematics
• Other equivalent qualifications may also be considered
  An applicant who does not satisfy all the stipulated minimum academic or technical qualifications for admission to a program may be accepted as a mature student. They would need to possess the critical elements of the stipulated qualification and would be assessed by NGS Program Manager.
