Quality Management for Construction Professionals provides students with an understanding of the principles and practices of quality management and control in the construction industry.

Within 20 hours, students will learn how to plan quality management and control and implement QA/ QA systems on projects.

Topics covered include quality planning, quality assurance, quality control, and commissioning.

Through case studies and real-world examples, students will develop the skills and knowledge needed to implement quality management strategies on construction projects.

Course Objectives:

A QA QC (Quality Assurance and Quality Control) programme is essential in construction management to ensure the project is completed to the highest standards and meets all quality requirements. This course will:

Ensure that all participants have a clear understanding of the quality assurance and quality control processes.
Provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively implement QA/QC practices in their work.
To equip participants with the tools and techniques needed to effectively document and communicate QA/QC results to stakeholders.
To promote a culture of continuous improvement in QA/QC processes within the organization.

Meet the Facilitator:

Oronde Smith is an Architectural Designer and Project Manager with 30 years of industry experience. He has served high and low-end residential, commercial and institutional projects and developed architectural details for internal and external customers. Possessing an Executive MBA, Oronde is the Managing Director of 360 Designs Ltd. He has taught Project Management for Construction Professionals at leading professional development institutions in Trinidad & Tobago.
